OLW: Tag--You're It!

Good evening....that sounds a bit dramatic and menacing, doesn't it?! I use "hello" too much on this blog...I need a new opening statement. I'll work on it.

Anywho...One Layer Wednesday!!! This week's challenge is entitled "Tag--You're It!" Can you guess what the challenge is?! That's right! We were challenged to make a one layer tag!!!

Well, with Christmas coming up, this was the perfect opportunity to create some gift tags for presents!

Here's the first one I finished~

Isn't it pretty? I love the traditional colors (even though I tend to go towards non-traditional colors for holiday cards and things) because the red really POPS!!!

Well, I had another sentiment in this set from Bo Bunny, so I decided to use it as well!

Here's my second tag~

I hope you think they are as neat as I do! I just love them and am excited to give them away this holiday season. Another note, I feel as though I use WAY too many {!}. I am trying to cut back. It is really hard. I almost typed on at the end of that sentence! And there I go again...

Anyway, I hope you come and play along with us! Happy tagging!!!

These are gorgeous Mynnette! Anyone would be thrilled to find one of these on their Christmas parcel! (Love the way you ended your post with three exclamation marks - go for it!) Vx

These are lovely - the traditional colors give them such a rich, classic feel. I really like your composition, too.

Mynnette, I think we're all guilty of using many !!!. I know I am. I love the elegance of your tags. Those sentiments are a beautiful font. I might "need" those stamps! LOL!
