Sunflowers & Pumpkins w/ Conie Fong

Hello, friends! It’s another day, and another card for me to share with you! I am so honored to be a Guest Designer for Conie Fong for the next couple of months, and today I’m sharing a lovely fall themed card using a gorgeous image from the Conie Fong Etsy shop

This card features the Sunflower Pumpkin Bundle image. I printed it the same size twice, then cut out the pumpkins and focal bloom after coloring so I could use them to add dimension to the scene. I also added a few buttons tucked in here and there for more texture.

I’m entering this card into these fabulous challenges:

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a peek at my first card back! I hope you take some time to head over to the Conie Fong Etsy Shop and grab some amazing images! If you do, please share them in the Conie Fong Facebook Group with us! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Hi, friends! I am back with another creation as the Guest Designer at Sweet Stamps!  This time I'm using a fabulous border image from the collection of their wonderful rubber cling stamps!  This week, I've been asked to create something that uses the theme of  IT'S SUMMER!

Here's my creation~

Details~

Nothing says summer to me like juicy strawberries!  I LOVE them and LOVE eating them all season long!  This border is absolutely perfect to go across a card and perfect for coloring and liquid pearls were used to accent this delicate image.  It's just so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  Sadly, this is my last creation using Sweet Stamps products for the month.  THANK YOU to Kendra and the other gals at Sweet Stamps for this opporunity!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Sweet Stamps: GDT + Anything Goes!

Hi, friends! I am back with another creation as the Guest Designer at Sweet Stamps!  This time I'm using a beautiful bird image from the collection of their wonderful rubber cling stamps!  This week, I've been asked to create something that uses the theme of  ANYTHING GOES! So...I went CHRISTMAS! :)

Here's my creation~

Details~

I make holiday cards year round, and this stamp duo is AMAZING because I think that the image can double for an everyday card, too!  The detail is absolutely fabulous--it is PERFECT for coloring in!  I've used Spectrum Noir markers to color it and added a bit of Stickles to the berries. :)

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  Come back next Saturday for one last creation using Sweet Stamps products!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Sweet Stamps: GDT + Painter's Tape Technique

Hi, friends! I am back with another creation as the Guest Designer at Sweet Stamps!  This time I'm using a beautiful silhouette image from the collection of their wonderful rubber cling stamps!  This week, I've been asked to create something that uses the PAINTER'S TAPE TECHNIQUE!  This is also in conjunction with their monthly challenge, so I hope you hop over to the blog to play along!

Here's my creation~

Detail~

I am IN LOVE with this gorgeous silhouette image!  I think it is the perfect fit for this technique, too!  It's the right size to fill up the card but not too big.  It's chunky enough to stand on its own but delicate enough to show the painters tape inking.  LOVE IT!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  Come back on Saturday for another creation using Sweet Stamps products!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Sweet Stamps: GDT + For Dad

Hi, friends! I am back with another creation as the Guest Designer at Sweet Stamps!  This time I'm using a Father's Day sentiment from the collection of their wonderful rubber cling stamps!  This week, I've been asked to create something that goes with the theme FOR DAD!

Here's my creation~

Detail~

Product used: Happy Father's Day 948

I kept this card very simple because I struggle with masculine cards.  This one was super simple when utilizing this fabulous sentiment stamp!  I LOVE the fun font--perfect for any sort of vintage/retro masculine card!  I chose patterned paper that went along with that sort of theme and the only embellishments used were a smattering of black enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  Come back on the 15th for another creation using Sweet Stamps products!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Sweet Stamps: GDT for June!

Hi, friends! I am so excited to announce that I am the Guest Designer at Sweet Stamps for June!  I've got 5 fun projects using their wonderful rubber cling stamps!  This week, I've been asked to create something that includes RIBBON, BUTTONS, AND/OR BOWS!

Here's my creation~

Detail~

Products used: Tall Grassy Flowers 1012H

I wanted to showcase this beautiful image because I think it's amazing on it's own, so I didn't add a sentiment.  My favorite color is purple, so I had to make those gorgeous blooms purple with a hint of glimmer!  This card came together very easily because of this stamp!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you've been inspired to create something today!  Come back next Saturday for another creation using Sweet Stamps products!  HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

GDT at Sugar Creek Hollow: Back to School!

Hello again, friends!!!  I'm SO excited to announce that this week I am a GDT at Sugar Creek Hollow!!!  I'm so happy to join this amazingly talented DT for the week and for a super fun challenge--BACK TO SCHOOL!  And there's a possibility of a prize, too!!!  Here's the info:

  • Provided we have nine entries, one random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a monthly Guest Designer spot.

So you HAVE to come and play along with us!!!  You just might be the Card of the Week and a GDT like me! :)  Don't forget to make your creation shabby chic or vintage, though. ;)  Now onto the project I created...

Here's what I've made~

Details~

I've used a digital image for my faux tile panel found HERE, Crackle Accents by Ranger, an ABC stamp set from an unknown company, patterned text paper by Foof-a-La, glitter by Martha Stewart, a glitter gel pen by Sakura, Mod Podge, metallic paint by Folk Art, pins by Maya Road, seam binding ribbon from my stash, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

The digital panel was what took the most time to make, but I LOVE the distressed look I got!  I printed the image out, let it dry over night.  I then cut it into "tiles", sponged the edges with dark brown ink, and reapplied them onto a brown panel.  I filled in each individual tile with Crackle Accents, waited for it to dry, reapplied the placed where it was coming up, added a quick coat of brown ink, then sealed it with Mod Podge.  The whole process took the whole day, but I did it as I was doing other things so the time went by rather quickly! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my altered notebook!  I hope that you come and join in the fun at Sugar Creek Hollow and that you take some time to leave a bit of love with the other amazing DT members as well!  HUGS and happy stamping! :)

Vintage Veggies!

Hi, friends!  I am SO excited today because I get to announce that I am the Guest Designer this week at The Shabby Tea Room!!!  We've got a fabulous challenge for you to play along with this time around--come and take a look!

Here's some photo inspiration~

We're looking for projects that have a VEGETABLE them
and we'd also like you to
incorporate TEXT in your project!

Here's what I came up with~

I've used a digital seed packet found online HERE, a digital sentiment made by yours truly, patterned paper by Making Memories, a glitter gel pen by Sakura, pearls by Studio 112, seam binding ribbon by May Arts, a doily (you can barely see) by Wilton, pins by Maya Road, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.  I colored the pearls and pins with Sharpie markers to get them to match my color scheme.  Such an easy way to make your project coordinate!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope that you will join in the fun at The Shabby Tea Room and that you'll leave a little love with the gals on this amazing DT as well!  HUGS and happy stamping friends! :)

ABC Challenges GDT Post

Well, I was asked by the lovely Patty over at ABC Challenges to be a guest DT this week because my card was chosen as their winner a few weeks ago!  Thanks gals!  I'm so honored and happy to participate with you this week! :)

Here's the color challenge for you~

My card~

Details~

I used a brand new Kaiser Kraft border stamp and inked it with Chocolate Chip.  I stamped it onto vanilla cardstock and then colored in the image with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive inks.  I decided to stamp the larger butterflies twice and then pop them up for some dimension and texture.  Then I added glitter because glitter always makes things better!  I added it to the rest of my card, placed the sentiment and added a couple of Maya Road pins.  There you have it!

Please come and play along this week with us!  We'd love to see what YOU create!  Don't forget to visit the other DT gals and tell them how much you like their projects as well!  Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stamping, friends!!! :)
