Convalescing is good for the crafter...

Convalescing this week.  I've got strep throat!  I get to be gone from work until tomorrow as I'm quite toxic.  LOL, I'm good with that!  It means I've gotten to take time to create some cards!  I've made 4 and so you'll see a few posts from me today.  This post will have 2 of the cards. :)

First card~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

This is a one layer card.  I've used Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green inks, a sentiment from a brand new stamp set by Teresa Collins called Christmas Cottage, the poinsettia image from the set Bliss by Stampin' Up! and the leaf from the stamp set Vintage Vogue by Stampin' Up!.  Cardstock is naturals white by Stampin' Up! as well.  No bling.  I LOVE the natural look of this card!!!

Card two~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

This is NOT as CAS as I wanted it to be, but I ended up decorating the inside so I wouldn't feel as bad and so that Ruth would be proud of me, LOL!  I've used a new to me punch from Martha Stewart to create my heart ornaments, white, red, and green cardstock from Stampin' Up! (Whisper White, Real Red, Certainly Celery), liquid pearls by Ranger, rhinestones from my stash, the ribbon stamp is by Stampin' Up! and is from the set Tree Trimmings, the sentiment inside is by Kaiser Kraft.  Embossing folder is by Sizzix.  Ribbon by Stampin' Up! in Real Red.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my two cards!  Stay tuned--I've got two more to share with you before the day is over!  Do come and join in these amazing challenges!  Merry stamping, friends! :)
