Inspired By Stamping: Patriotic Pinwheels

Welcome, friends!  Thank you for stopping by today!  I'm here to share a card with you using some awesome stamps from the Inspired By Stamping online store!  I went patriotic this time, and I've got a few tips on how to add texture to your creations on the Inspired By Stamping blog, too!  Take a peek at my creation...

These fun images from the Swirling Pinwheels stamp set were stamped in black onto some subtly patterned paper.  I also stamped one in blue and red ink, then fussy cut it out to add for a POP of color.  White enamel dots were added to the centers.

The sentiment, pieced together from the Big Wonderful stamp set, was heat embossed in two colors onto a strip of vellum.  I decided to staple it to the card base instead of trying to hide any sort of adhesive.

Some baker's twine helps to add texture to the top of the card.  I added a bunch of little stamped elements using black and white inks and stamps from the Pretty Planners stamp set for even more interest.  I love how these images look when stamped over each other in different inks!

I really like the way that this card turned out!  I think that this card is just perfect for a very special friend, don't you?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends!  I hope you come and join our current monthly inspiration challenge at Inspired By Stamping and that you grab these goodies from the Inspired By Stamping online store, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

I really like the depth you've created by stamping the pinwheels to the background and fussy cutting one. Beautiful!
