Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #65: Easter

Inside~

I've used a Digi Doodle Shop image called "Spring Time Bunnies."  After coloring it in with blender pens, I crumpled the paper up, semi-flattened it, and sprayed it with gold glimmer mist.  I LOVE how it turned out!

Just a TIP for using digi images--make sure that your ink dries on your cardstock fully before coloring in your images.  Even waiting just 5 minutes after printing them makes a huge difference!!!

And now, here's the sketch~

Place your image/sentiment wherever and embellish however you like!

I've used a digi image from Digi Doodle Shop--this is my first attempt at ever using a digital stamp, so PLEASE be kind! :) Since I'm hopeless at coloring (WORKING on it), I've paper pieced this lovely image--it's called Roses. Okay, I did use colored glitter gel pens to color in the really small bits...and added more glitter to the roses. LOVE glitter! :)

Paper piecing takes a bit of time--it's not for the faint of heart--but I really feel that it lends special texture to our cards! And pearls were the only thing I felt could embellish this more.

I have no idea who I will give this to, but it will have to be someone special, as I hate to have my hard work thrown in the trash--I'm sure you all know the feeling!
