CutCardStock: Folded Frame Card

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another card made with products from the CutCardStock online store!  I've got a step-by-step tutorial on the CutCardStock blog on how to create this fun fold, so hop over to check it out!

The card base is made from a piece of Classic Crest Solar White card.  The textured piece and large scallop are made from Muscletone Kraft card.  The beautiful blue folded frame was made from Basis Aqua card.  I just love these colors together!  I added some pre-made die cut pieces to finish off the card.

That's all for me today!  I hope you hop over to the CutCardStock store to grab these amazing papers and then over to the CutCardStock blog for my tutorial on how to make this fabulous folded frame!  Until next time, HUGS and happy paper crafting to you all! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Folded Frame Card

Hi, all!  I'm super excited to share my card today!  I've used some beautiful products from the Inspired By Stamping store that came together perfectly!  This week, the DT is featuring new techniques.  I decided to try out the Folded Frame technique--and I LOVE the results!  Come and see the card...

The first thing I did was cut two pieces of Spring Lilacs paper into 4 1/4" squares.  I then adhered the backs together to create a double sided piece of patterned paper.  I folded my frame, adhering it with foam dimensional pieces, and added another coordinating piece of Spring Lilacs paper, 3" square, to the center.  I heat embossed a sentiment from the Words of Inspiration stamp set with some glittery black embossing powder and added a few rhinestones to accent it.

I then stamped two of the flower images from the Fancy Labels 3 stamp set.  I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers, fussy cut them out, then adhered them to the frame.  I added some glitter glue for added sine and texture to the images.

The final step was to add my created frame to a card base.  This card base was prepped with some more of the gorgeous Spring Lilacs paper to match the center of the frame and tie the whole thing together.  I LOVE these colors and the way this turned out!  What do you think?  I'd love for you to leave me a message in the comments below to let me know!

That's all for me today, friends!  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you try this fun technique and that you enter our monthly challenge, too!  Don't forget to go grab the goodies I used from the Inspired By Stamping online store, too!  See you soon!  HUGS and happy stamping, all!
