What do you think? I used a darling freebie from The Alley Way Stamps and colored it then added glossy and crackle accents. The hat was a coloring page that I edited and made smaller and decided to glitter the white parts. After that, I made a dig sentiment to go with it! The very last picture of this card shows a close up of the green paper--I made the sparkle myself using a tutorial that a DT friend, Patty Gorka of LaLatty Stampin' Stuff, had on her blog. Find it here!
Here it is as a freebie until Thursday~
Now onto my second card! It uses the sketch from a fabulous challenge called Try Stampin' On Tuesday!!! The lovely ladies over there are so sweet and have the most rockin' cards! And I got to use punches and die cuts on this card, so I was a happy lady!

For these fabulous challenges~

This one was fun to make, too! I used an old retired SU! set and then did some quick generational stamping on my smallest kraft panel, then added the sentiment and some glitter. I layered it on top of another die cut, on top of a kraft panel that I stamped with a textured stamp in a layering fashion, and layered that on top of the Old Olive panel. Then came the ribbon and the flower. The flower is so many layers--4 for the flower/gem and then 3 for the leaves! LOTS of layers! But, the more the layers, the heavier the card, the more the postage, the more the recipient feels loved, right?! ;D
Thanks for stopping by and hanging in there for the 2 cards! Happy stamping--I hope to see YOU at these fabulous challenges! :)
