Ombre Hearts

Hi, friends!  I'm back with another Valentine card that uses vellum--I'm just in that kind of mood lately! ;)  This one uses some generational stamping to create an ombre heart background, too!  Come and take a peek...

I started by heat embossing the sentiment from the Big Hello stamp set from Inspired By Stamping with silver embossing powder onto vellum.  I jazzed the vellum up with some ribbon, liquid pearls, and rhinestones.  The embossing and embellishments made it easy to add dimensional foam strategically so that the sentiment panel could be popped up on the stamped panel.

The background panel was created using a heart image from the Build a Stocking set from Inspired By Stamping.  I used generational stamping to create this and I love the way it turned out!  It's interesting to me how the color changes as you stamp off a few times!

The last step was to just add the panel to a white card base.  Voila!  I think it turned out so sweet!  What do you think?  I would love for you to leave me a comment and let me know!  :)

I'd like to enter this card into these fabulous challenges~

Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my card!  I hope you like it and that you come and play along with these fun challenges!  Until next time, HUGs and happy stamping to you all! :)

Inspired By Stamping: Christmas Swag

Hello, all!  I'm so excited to be sharing a card today using the BRAND NEW Christmas Wreath set--free with any $50 purchase right now--and the NEW Big Holidays set, too!  Come and take a peek at my card...

I love this new Christmas Wreath stamp set--it is SO versatile!  For this card, I decided to use the pine branch image to create a swag look to the top of my card.  I did this with the help of some generational stamping.  I then added some pine cones from the same set and pearls as accents.

The finishing touch for the swag was a fussy cut bow image from the Christmas Wreath stamp set.  I added a large pearl to the center to tie in the other pearl accents on this card.  I think it turned out fabulously!

I then turned to creating a sentiment panel.  I used a sentiment from the Big Wishes stamp set.  I added it to a punched border mat and added some ribbon and liquid pearls to finish this portion off.

The completed card is a traditionally colored holiday card with just a hint of shine and dimension!  I like the bold look of it--what do you think?

That's all for me today!  I hope you take a chance to go and grab our newest release from the store and, if you spend $50, you will get a free stamp set!  Also, come and join in the fun of our current challenge, too!  If you use products from the Inspired By Stamping store, link them up in the Customer Gallery as well!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!

Great Impressions: Christmas Tag

Hey, y'all!  I hope everyone is having a great week and a wonderful day!  I'm back today with another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today I've got a Christmas tag to share with you--it's NEVER too early to start holiday crafting!!!

For my focal panel, I did a little collage stamping with G140 Pine Branch and D281 Berry Sprig.  I find that when I do collage stamping, it's best to employ generational stamping as well.  This adds more texture to your panel.  I finished this portion of the tag by sponging the edges and adding part of F249 Warmest Greetings, embossed in sparkly black, as my sentiment.  A few pearls were the perfect elegant accent to highlight this beautiful sentiment.

After that, all that was left was to add my stamped and embossed panel to the glittery red tag base!  Some black stitched ribbon tied in the black sentiment and matting from the tag.  I love the final product!  I'm one tag closer to being done with my holiday crafting now! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at my creation!  Hop over to the Great Impressions blog for more inspiration and come play along with our monthly challenge, too!  If you use stamps from Great Impressions, you'll be able to link up your creation in our Customer Gallery, too!  HUGS and happy stamping to you all!
