CAS-ually Lazy...

Yep. That's me. Lazy! And I don't even care what anyone thinks about it! ;D I am so incredibly busy, but I REALLY wanted to participate in this week's CAS-ual Friday challenge--tic tac toe!

Here's the board~

And I made two cards...really lazily. I wanted to do the kraft, pink, stripes first, so I found some fun paper to use, and it just HAPPENED to also have aqua! SO, I made an aqua, scallop, kraft card as well!

Here's the card (Christmas Date)~

And some details~

Isn't it pretty?! I think it's all due to that beautiful poinsettia from my sweet friend! :) Thank you so much for taking a little time out of your day to pop on over--I really appreciate you a lot! :) I hope that you take the chance to join in the fun over at these two fabulous challenges--and pop over to Julie's blog for some other fabulous creations! Well, I am so incredibly excited to announce that I have been asked to join the Make My Monday Deezine Team!!! Thanks to Jacqueline and all the other fabulous ladies I'm working with--I appreciate you voting to keep me on! I just KNOW I'm going to have tons of fun working with all of them--they are all wonderful!!! :)

Now, we are into another new month! December--month of Christmas and other wonderful winter celebrations. Our theme this month is Seasonal (winter celebrations--ie. Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, etc.)--and ANYTHING GOES! BUT--this week, you need to add GLITTER. Oh, be still my heart. GLITTER!!! How I love that word...and I was SOOOOO in luck, because I just purchased quite a bit of glitter and glittered paper on Black Friday...and I used it to make my card! I also got to use one of my favorite Christmas sets on this one...yeah, just ONE this week--it's the holidays, ok?! :)

Here's my card (Green Nativity)~

GLITTERY Details~

So, what do you think of some of my new glittery deals? I was sooooo excited to get to use them right after I purchased them! Sometimes I buy things that I don't use right away and then I regret it...I'm sure this has NEVER happened to YOU!!! Anyway, the glitter paper is DCWV, the glitter on the image is Dazzling Diamonds from SU!, and the glitter around the sentiment is by Studio G. The stamps and other cardstock are all SU!

Thanks for popping by to take a peek--if you like what you see, won't you please follow me? If I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I will be giving away some blog candy! :) So, please follow me?! :)

Also, please pop on over to Make My Monday and join us--we have such fun! Take a few minutes to visit my fellow DT members' fabulous blogs--you will NOT regret it! Happy stamping! :)

Seeing Spots!

Nope. I'm not sick. I'm only seeing spots because this week's challenge over at Charisma Cardz is to create something with spots! Any you KNOW I'm all over that--love me some polka dots! :)

You should pop on over--there are some absolutely fabulous DT creations! :) I made two cards for this challenge--one with lots of spots and one with subtle spots.

Card 1 (A Very Merry Spotted Christmas)~

Details~

Card 2 (God For Us)~

Details~

The first will be given out as a holiday greeting card, the second was made for a baptism that will take place later tonight at our church. :)

So, are YOU seeing spots yet?! Get crafting--merry stamping! :)

PS: Remember--if I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I will be giving away blog candy!!! :)

Soft & Subtle Thanks

Okay. This card is actually something that I am terribly proud of. It's turned out sooooo much better than I thought it would! Can you believe it?! I can't...it's really late I didn't think it would be good at all!!!

Okay, I am entering this into a few challenges AND my first blog hop--I am just so happy with it, I want to share it with as many people as possible!!!

1. Play Date Cafe (colors)

2. Gingersnap Creations (Thank You Notes)

3. Simon Says Stamp (ANYTHING GOES!)

4. Techno Stamper (layout--I turned it...)
And now, here it is~

And details~

And the inside~

Oh. My. Word. It took me quite a while, but it is so ridiculously fabulous and I don't even mind!!! This is my first attempt at ribbon pleating--it came out pretty good!!! I heat embossed the flower outlines, colored them in, sponged the panel, and THEN dry embossed it. I almost added glitter and rhinestones, but then I realized that pearls would be more soft and subtle...and that's what I was going for!!! What do you think?! Don't tell me if you hate it... ;D

BTW~If I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I am giving away a bunch of blog candy!!! Please follow me and join in the fun! :)

Well, that's all for now! :) Happy stamping!!! Feel free to join in the blog hop~

Variations...

Well, hello. Yes. It's quite late. I'm counting this as Friday's post, even thought it's one hour into Saturday. : ) Before we begin--let me restate yet again that I am wanting to offer some blog candy! Here's how--if I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I will have a huge give away! Please follow me so that I can share the celebration!!! :)

Okay, this week at One Layer Wednesday, the challenge was to create one layer cards with variations on a sentiment. The card can only have the sentiment. The sentiment is the only thing to be on the card. I am in trouble...

Or am I?! I recently purchased the Season's Greetings set from Inkadinkado (see previous post here) and I still hadn't used the largest sentiment. HUZZAH!!! I made four cards--Susan did, too, and so I just followed in her fabulous footsteps! :D

Card 1 (embossed with gold tinsel powder)~

Card 2 (stamped in green ink then embossed with Kaleidescope powder)~

Card 3 (embossed in white)~

Card 4 (stamped in red and then embossed with clear powder)~

What do you think? My favorite is the white one red. So bold and festive!!! I had so much fun with this challenge--and I will be able to send these to friends everywhere with no extra postage. HUZZAH! Hope you join in the fun--merry stamping! :)

Brr.....It's SNOW cold! ;D

Is it REALLY December already?! Oh my word, I am in TROUBLE. I only have a few short weeks to finish all my Christmas gifts!!! Okay, now I need to stop talking about it because I may be sick...I tend to work myself up about these things...

Okay, so one of my favorite colors to use on wintery holiday cards is BLUE. It's so wintry, don't you think?! AND I love using shimmer and glitter--it makes my heart happy!!! :)

So, since I'm strapped for time, I have 2 cards for you in one post today. Similar colors, so I feel justified. ;D The first one is for The Pink Elephant photo challenge this week and also for this week's Papertake Weekly challenge--it's a sketch. :)

Here it is~

And details~

Like it? I was sooooo happy to use snowmen! I haven't made a lot of snowmen cards this year but I adore them!!!

This second card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge and also for this week's Sunday Stamper challenge--Lucky Star. :)

Here it is~

And details~

I had lots of fun making the image panel on this one--isn't that blue sponged ink just awesome on that shimmer paper (NEW to me from Core-dinations)?! I tried to take good pics to show you that it's shimmery and has a subtle pattern to it. LOVE THIS!!!

Ok, there you have it! :) Gotta run--having a Stampin' Up! party...haven't hosted one in years! BUT BEFORE I FORGET: IF I get 100 followers by January 1, 2012, I will be giving away some blog candy! Won't you please join in the fun?! Merry stamping and happy December to you all!!! :)
