A SPLASH of Hot Pink Goodness

Welcome again--I know I've posted enough today, but I wanted to get my Play Date Cafe color challenge card in before I run out of time. As running out of time seems to be my forte lately. Yeah. I've been rather annoyed with myself because of it. But, as usual, I digress!

Here's the inspiration from PDC~

LOVE splash weeks!!! And what can be more fabulous than a splash of hot pink?! What about shoes to go with it!!! Yes--you heard me. SHOES. I got this fabulous little shoe stamp this past weekend and immediately KNEW it was a match made in heaven. Don't believe me? See for yourself!

Here's my card~

Details~

Inside~

I love that little shoe image SO much--isn't the houndstooth pattern amazing! And it's perfect with a splash of hot pink! ;) I also got to use a bunch of black, white, and pink bling. Which is another thing that goes perfectly with shoes! I HAD to use the image twice--shoes do come in pairs as we all know--that's why I stamped it again on the inside. :)

I heat embossed the white script onto the black background and heat embossed the black heart image onto hot pink cardstock. Since I've used a bunch of script, I'm also entering this into The Pink Elephant challenge--Print It!--which asks us to create something with print or script!

Since I've used ribbon and have a few hearts on my card, I'm also entering this into Nina's fabulous I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge! Hop over--there's still time to play this month!!!

The teeny tiny hearts are punched out of the same hot pink cardstock--it's a hole punch I've had for years and have almost gotten rid of a couple of times. Luckily I didn't, because it really has come in handy--not just for this card, but also for my DH's Valentine this year!

I hope you like what you see--I had tons of fun making this and can't wait to check out other entries! Happy stamping!!!
