Yep, I'm back!!! ;)  I've got two for this post. ;)  Let's get to it, shall we?!  I'm so in trouble with all the cards I need to blog...I think this will be my last post tonight, though.  You'll have to come back later to see more! ;)

Here's the first card~

This card was inspired by a card made for the Hero Arts/May Arts Blog Hop back in January by Tami Hartley.  I LOVE the layout--and I used my new favorite summer colors! ;)  Let's keep going...

Here's the second card~

Whew.  This one uses a free digi HERE and TONS of buttons and bling--I did stamp a bunch of images on this card to make it a bit more interesting. ;)

Thanks for stopping by--don't forget to come back tomorrow for about 2 or more cards! ;)  Happy stamping! :)

Sorry for the day with out me! ;)

I've had quite an eventful week and am trying to balance all of my blogs!  BUT, I did take some time to create some cards!  I'll show just one per post, as I've used the same sketch and would like to enter them both into the sketch challenge.

Here it is~

This card was really fun to make.  It's not my "usual" style, but I think it looks so pretty and elegant!  To make my doily more distressed and shimmery, I sponged it with brown ink and then glimmer misted it.  For the image panel, I stamped the rose image in a pale aqua and then stamped the sentiment over it in brown.  Some buttons, ribbon, and twine and there you have it!

Thanks for joining me today--keep a look out for the other card!  It'll be posted soon, I promise!  Happy stamping! :)

PS: Have you checked out my BLOG CANDY yet?!

My AD{H?}D Lifestyle...

WOW.  It's been a roller coaster ride today!  I do have another card to share, but first I wanted to share a bit about my crazy "organizational" skills that people think I have.  I LOVE being busy.  I LOVE having things to do (as long as they're mixed between enjoyable and less-enjoyable).  A lot of people think I'm organized.  GUESS WHAT?!  I'm not!!!  Ask my OCD sister.  SHE is the one who has taught me to be organized.  SHE was the voice of reason (Are you REALLY gonna use that?) for YEARS before she went to college...and left me all alone!  I had to step up at that point.  I did.  BUT I do it  MY way.  Which is scatterbrained.  If I am blogging and happen to need to go to the bathroom, as soon as I'm out of the bathroom, I do some other task in another part of the house.  Today, I have gone from laundry to eating to blogging to Primary lesson prep to laundry to eating to bathroom to laundry to cleaning to bathing dog to....YOU get the point.  I don't think I honestly do something for more than 10 minutes UNLESS I LOVE IT.  I could make cards for hours.  I DID last night!  But today, my ADD is kicking in BIG TIME and it's been really scary...thanks to my DH for keeping me on track at times!!!  When HE doesn't do it, I have to FORCE myself to do things right away that I've promised other people I'd do...otherwise it literally never gets done.  Unless they give me a deadline.  And then I DO get it done.  Open ended things have never worked well for me!  Self study classes, nope.  Challenges that never really end--don't do 'em even if I intend to!  I'm crazy.  I NEED STRUCTURE!!!  But I can't really create it for myself I guess...unless lists count.  I make TONS of lists...I have TONS of notebooks for different things--ask my DH!  This is getting too long, so I'll stop now.

Okay, so personal share time is OVER, so let's talk about the card I have to show you.  I have 2 more, but I'll save them for another day...THIS card is one that was inspired by my love for strawberries dipped in sugar.  YUM!

Here's the card~

Since I was long winded up top, I'll be short down here!  I hope you like what you see--got questions, email me!  Thanks for stopping by--happy stamping! :)

2 Cards...

Hi, all!  First of all, have you taken time yet this weekend to create your card or project for Technique Tuesday?!  You've got a few days left--I hope you join me!  I really want to start giving away prizes!!! :)

Now onto some other items of business.  Namely 2 cards that I have to show you tonight.  I've had a lazy day today.  Okay, I did do some housework, but I did stay in my pajamas all day.  After I took a shower, I hopped into a new pair, and that's how I've been all day.  Haven't left the house at all!  It's been absolutely fantastic!  But I digress...

Here's card #1: Red, White, and Blue Posies For You~

For these fabulous challenges~

What do you think?  I recently purchased some of the cheap $1 acrylic stamps, and these wild flowers are some of the images.  I masked off the panel to create my blue moon...I was hoping this would look like the scene was moonlit.  Does it?  I added glitter and rhinestones to give the feeling of dew in the night air.  I dunno...maybe I went too artsy and failed?  Anyway, onwards and upwards!

Here's card #2: You're a Star~

For these fabulous challenges~

I like this one.  I used both sides of the embossing folder to create my two white embossed panels.  It gives a subtle something I think.  I also used stars to stick with a masculine theme.  This is also my "Spread the L-O-V-E" card because I'll be giving it to my DH on Father's Day. :)

Thanks for stopping by--I hope you like what you see!  I also hope you'll join in the amazing challenges--I LOVE seeing everyone's creations!  Happy stamping! :)

Orange Flamingo

Hello!  So, what do you think about this post's title?  It really does apply, because I have another card to show you today using orange flamingo colors!  Can you believe that I am posting three days in a row?! ;)  This card is all bright and bold and summer time fresh!  And yet, I'm not sure if it quite goes together...I think I'm being way too hard on myself lately.  Okay, this is a very lovely card! ;D

Here it is~

The image is a Prima single that I recently purchased.  If you'd like to get one for yourself, they sell them over at The Craft Barn! :)  For more information about this card, email me and I'd be happy to tell you more!

Has anyone else seen the YouTube video about the 10 year old autistic boy who went to school with a wire and what the parents found out?!  I work with children with special needs, some of whom are autistic, and this disgusted me.  No, they can't talk.  YES, they can hear!  YES, they're real people who hear every insult you say to them!  This really angered me and also made me think about how I interact with my kiddos at school.  I cannot imagine ever speaking this way to them, or talking about completely inappropriate adult topics in front of them.  If you haven't seen it and would like to, you can find the video here.  I'm livid about it...

Anyway, I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges~

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you all have a fabulous rest of you week, and happy stamping!!!
