2 Cards...

Hi, all!  First of all, have you taken time yet this weekend to create your card or project for Technique Tuesday?!  You've got a few days left--I hope you join me!  I really want to start giving away prizes!!! :)

Now onto some other items of business.  Namely 2 cards that I have to show you tonight.  I've had a lazy day today.  Okay, I did do some housework, but I did stay in my pajamas all day.  After I took a shower, I hopped into a new pair, and that's how I've been all day.  Haven't left the house at all!  It's been absolutely fantastic!  But I digress...

Here's card #1: Red, White, and Blue Posies For You~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

What do you think?  I recently purchased some of the cheap $1 acrylic stamps, and these wild flowers are some of the images.  I masked off the panel to create my blue moon...I was hoping this would look like the scene was moonlit.  Does it?  I added glitter and rhinestones to give the feeling of dew in the night air.  I dunno...maybe I went too artsy and failed?  Anyway, onwards and upwards!

Here's card #2: You're a Star~

Details~

For these fabulous challenges~

I like this one.  I used both sides of the embossing folder to create my two white embossed panels.  It gives a subtle something I think.  I also used stars to stick with a masculine theme.  This is also my "Spread the L-O-V-E" card because I'll be giving it to my DH on Father's Day. :)

Thanks for stopping by--I hope you like what you see!  I also hope you'll join in the amazing challenges--I LOVE seeing everyone's creations!  Happy stamping! :)

I think they are both great. I love the paper that you used for your stars. It is nice to have lazy days once in awhile. I love those days that I can stay home and just craft until my heart is content. :o)

Thank you for visiting my blog and for your sweet comment.

Ohhh, love the glitter & bling in the first one!
Great effect!
I like the double embossing(?) on the second one, very clever!

Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Your flower scene looks beautiful and I LOVE the addition of the twinkles! The UK is currently awash with red/white/blue because of the Queen's Jubilee, so this looks very 'of the moment' to me :)

Two fabulous and totally different cards both are stunning. Yes I can see the dew on the first so beautifully stampend and designed. love the dynamic simplicity on the second.

Your card is just lovely. The glitter does make it look like the moon is reflecting light off the petals of the flowers. Great Card!

Mynnette, I loved your card from the moment I saw the tiny thumbnail pic hanging in our gallery at the Play Date Cafe. It's WONDERFUL! You put so much work into masking, and it was worth every moment you did so.

I need a PJ day, too, soon! LOL

Thanks for joining us at The Play Date CAfe!
