Make My Monday: Floral/Lily of the Valley

Welcome to a new month at the Make My Monday challenge blog!!!  We've got a fabulous new theme this month: FLORAL.  This week, we're asking for floral creations featuring lily of the valleys or a white flower.  I LOVE lily of the valleys as May is my birth month and that means that this is my birth flower!  And I LOVE the meaning behind the flower--return to happiness!  SO TRUE, as an educator, school's out at the end of May and I can return to crafting all day long! ;D

Here's my card for this fabulous challenge~

I used a vintage digital image from The Graphic's Fairy, colored it in with blender pens and a glitter gel pen, and  then sponged around the image.  For the background panel, I stamped random images from a few of my Pink Paislee sets and dry embossed it.  Some ribbon and Prima crystals finished it off! What do you think?

Since I used a Graphic's Fairy image, I'm entering this into Brag Monday!  Thanks for stopping by--I hope you like what you've seen and come play along with us at Make My Monday!  And don't forget to pop along to the other DT's blogs to see they're stunning creations!  Happy stamping!!! :)

This is lovely Mynnette! I love the colours you've used and that gorgeous embossed background. May is my birth month too and I will never forget the first time I was given lily of the valley - the scent of them was unforgettable! Vicky x

This is fabulous - to me this is what Lillies of the Valley are about - all those bright white stalks nestling amongst the leaves. Very pretty card.

Pretty card Mynnette! I LOVE lily of the valley, they smell SO good. There's a patch I walk by everyday with my little Max and I pause to drink them in!!

Lovely image and fabulous dry embossing. I always seem to neglect dry embossing.
