Two cards, same digis, different purposes...

Hi.  It's me again!  Yes.  I'm posting twice on a Sunday.  It's weird.  You'll survive.  You know you love it! ;)  Anywho...I've got 2 cards to show you using the same digital stamps from Fred She Said and some digi sentiments by yours truly!  I love to make up card panels on photoshop and print them out with different sentiments for future use.  I was lucky enough to win a gift certificate to Fred She Said from Word Art Wednesday, so I felt it only fitting to use the digis ASAP! :)

Sympathy card~

(My scrap drawers thank you again!)

(I've dry embossed.)

Unfortunately, I had need for another sympathy card as a friend of mine's grandmother passed away.  BUT, I know this card will brighten her day just a little and that is why I am so thankful to God for my talents He has blessed me with!

So, these cards utilize my newest favorite technique.  Seriously.  Browse my blog and you'll see it almost every single screen full of posts...I watercolor my panel as little or as much as I want, I spritz with glimmer mist, I semi-dry it, I dry emboss it, it turns out fabulous!  Every. Single. Time.  Seriously--you cannot go wrong with this technique!  And it turns out so differently each time, too!  Take a look at the other card I've made...

Birthday card~

See!  The exact same panel but with different sentiments.  Both came out amazingly but they look totally different!  This one uses my homemade glimmer mist.  Much cheaper.  I hope you try it out--you'll love the results!!!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my cards!  I appreciate each of you and hope you'll join in these fabulous challenges!  Happy stamping! :)

Oh Mynnette.....these are just SO perfect! I'm so glad you were able to use your goodies, and SO beautifully. You've been busy learning new techniques, and we're the blessed ones to get to see it all. THanks SO MUCH for sharing with us the fruits of your labor through the use of the gifts He has given you. What a treat to see Him through art.

These are wonderful Mynnette! I think the second is my favorite. I'm not a purple fan but the tiny border and polka dot knotted ribbon really make it shine!

I love how you showcased this two ways! I think your use of a colour besides black on your card works well for a sympathy card. Thanks for joining us at the Clear it Out Challenge Blog

Love your technique and the cards are just stunning! Where is the 'love and hugs on your birthday' sentiment from?
