Paper Sweeties July 2017 New Release Party!

Hi, friends! It's time for another release at Paper Sweeties, and we have some super sweet products to share with you this month! Today I'm sharing a fun shaker card using the *NEW* Scallop Rectangle Sweet Cut dies. Take a peek...

I started by creating the shaker element using the *NEW* Scallop Rectangles Sweet Cut dies. I then added a sentiment from the *NEW* Kindness Matters stamp set. Some Marshmallow and Sugar sequins make up part of the shaker filling! SO fun!

Finishing touches include some ribbon, shaped rhinestones, and dry embossing. I wanted to keep it elegant and easy to mail, and I think I achieved my goal! What do you think? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you hop over to the Paper Sweeties store and grab these goodies in a couple of days!  For more inspiration, make sure to check out what the other DT gals have made this month!

Here's the list~

Kennedy Grace Creations: Happy Birthday Shaker

Hi, everyone!  I have a super fun card to share with you today!  It's a shaker card that utilizes the sentiment for the shaker container, and the beautiful filler mix is from the Kennedy Grace Designs store!  Check it out...

I chose to go with the *NEW* Morning Glory mix for this card because the color combo is SO pretty!  The filling was added to a shaker made from the Happy Birthday Circle dies from The Stamps of Life.

I added a trio of flowers to the bottom to make it a bit more girly. ;)  I think the colors of the flowers work really well with the colors in this beautiful mix, don't you?

I added some ribbon, a doily, and patterned paper to the card base before adding the shaker element.  I am really loving the way this turned out, and I hope you love it, too!  I'd also love for you to leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts about this creation! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope that you take some time today to craft and create!  If you're looking for some GORGEOUS sequins, the place to start is the Kennedy Grace Creations store, so hop over and see what they have in stock today!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Sparkle Shaker

Hi, friends!  I am so excited to share a fun card I made using the *NEW* Grid Dies from The Stamps of Life!  It's SO perfect for shaker cards, so that's what I've made...take a peek...

I cut a frame with the Grid Dies out of pink glitter paper.  I used the larger die to cut the patterned paper and acetate.  I added some sequins and adhered the panels together.  On the smaller square windows, I added some fun flower embellies to tie in the colors of the paper.

Next, I added a sentiment from the upliftingwords2hear set.  I stamped it with Ocean ink and then matted it with more pink glitter paper.  I then added the sentiment to the larger side of the card.

I made each opening it's own shaker.  That meant I was able to add more sequins for more sparkle and shine! ;)  I hope you like the final product.  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

I'd like to enter my card into these fabulous challenges~

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  I'll be back again soon with more paper crafted creations!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Birthday Shaker

Hello, all!  Classes have started again for me, so, unfortunately, I am going to be seeing less of you all.  BUT, I still have lots of fun cards to share with you, they just won't be as frequent come February. :)  Today I have a card that was SUPER fun to make, and it uses some totally fabulous products from The Stamps of Life!  Check it out...

I used the *NEW* Happy Birthday Circle Dies to create a fun shaker for my focal point and sentiment combo.  I used white cardstock as the color of choice so that I could add in lots of fun colored sequins.

To finish off the card, I added a layered die cut candle that was made using the Candle Club Die Set.  I added some ribbon, baker's twine, and a fun polka dot bow to finish off the card.

I think this turned out super fun!  I know there are a few bows, but this card was created to be used for a man's birthday.  Hopefully the bows are reminiscent of gift wrapping. ;)  What do you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I'd like to enter this into these fabulous challenges~
