WOW...WYOWW 135 and More

Yeah. I've decided to participate in What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. It's something I've been toying with in my brain, but was always ashamed of the state of my desk. But I've gotten over it. And the picture I have for you is NOT pretty. Yep. I totally had to clean it up a bit in order to make the card I have for you tonight...WOW.

Here's my desk~

I know. Scary. Ugh. I'm hoping you won't hold it against me. I'm so incredibly messy when I create, but I HATE seeing spaces that could hold something...even scraps of paper, so I tend to create piles. ;) Do, please don't judge me! Love me for what I am!

In other news, I've found a fabulous blog (Twins Moms) that has some wonderful candy once it reaches 200 followers!!!

Here's what you'll get~

I've added the button to my sidebar, too, for quick clicking success! :) Go on over and follow her!

Okay, now here's the card I have for you tonight~

And some details~

I tried to show the shimmer of the chandelier--I embossed the dark blue with Kaleidoscope embossing powder and so it's gorgeous! :) The image I used as my chandelier isn't a chandelier stamp, I just turned it into one because it totally looks like it could be one! Just needed to add the shine and bling!

Can I just say, I LOVE this card--it turned out better than I thought it would, which always makes me happy! :) I hope you like it, too! I hope you're inspired to follow along with the challenges I'm submitting this beauty into.

I'm submitting this card into the following fabulous challenges~

CR84FN45: Medium blue, orange, and yellow (GORGEOUS colors!)
Gingersnap GC131: Candelabras, Candles, & Chandeliers (I chose chandelier)
Fashionable Stamping Challenge #12: Anything goes using NEW stuff from the holiday (I got the bling and the ribbon for Christmas, plus the dry embossing folder I used and the patterned card back.)
Pile It On #1 of 2012: Anything goes! (I wanted to show off my card!!!)

Hi! Thanks for the very sweet comments to my first woyww!!

Personally, I don't think you can create good art from a clean work space. ;) Mine is always a wreck!

Judge you? For a workdesk that looks cmpletely normal? No, that's not what we're about at all! Welcome to WOYWW, I'm a bit worried that you may not have enough ink pads....I like the card very much, and the chandelier is lovely and sparkly!

Hee hee - you do maximise your space Mynnette. I've given up with most of my house - I have a husband a daughter and a son who care nothing for tidiness. My craft room however has to be clean and tidy every time I start a new project and I've lost count of the amount of times I've re-organised my space to make it cleaner and tidier!!! - Jacqueline xx

I love how you used the different coloured gems on your chandelier, just gives it that little extra something. As far as your desk goes, wellll...you gotta get into a mess before you get out of a mess! that's always my excuse anyways lol.

I always use that SU image oriented the other way, so it's super fun to see it "upside down." Thanks for sharing your card and your work space.

Oh this really caught my eye Mynnette. The glitzed out chandelier is so fun and the DPs look like wall paper behind it!
