TTT: Tips & Variations for Faux Chalkboard

Hi, friends!  Our FAUX CHALKBOARD challenge is in full swing over at the Technique Time Tuesday challenge blog!  Today we have a post that has tips and variation ideas for you to think about when using this technique.  Oh, and a card from yours truly using some of these tips and variations!

Here's my card~

A close up of the detail~

I used patterned paper by Colorbok, stamps by Stampers Best, a sentiment by an unknown company, white embossing powder by Stampendous!, rhinestones by Kaiser Kraft and Studio 112, colored pencils by Crayola, pins by Maya Road, and all other supplies are by Stampin' Up!.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope that you will join in our fun challenge and that you'll take a bit of time to leave some love with the other amazing gals on my crew!  HUGS and happy stamping friends!

Nice, festive card! I never think of using classic "Christmas" colors for everyday cards. All of your layered flowers and the stickpin look great. :)

I'm going to go and have a look to see if there is another technique/way to play with the chalkboard technique. Hope you are keeping well Karen x
