Non-Traditional Candy Canes

Well, folks, I've been disappointing myself a bit lately! I am totally into non-traditional holiday card colors, but looking over my past holiday posts this year, they've been very traditional! So, let's shake it up a bit, shall we? But first, let's take a look at all the contributing factors to my card for this evening...

#1: Here are the colors for the latest CR84FN color challenge~

#2: Here's the sketch for Mojo Monday's latest challenge~

#3: Over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, they've challenged us to use a favorite sketch--I'm choosing to use the Mojo Monday sketch because I had tons of fun! BUT, it needs to be Christmas!!!

Okay, there are all the contributing factors!!! Now, onto the eye candy...

Here's my card~

Isn't it fun?! I was inspired by the stripes on the cake in the CR84FN inspirations pics and the overall feminine feel of them. And my non-traditional candy cane paper worked out nicely--striped and girly!!! :) Wanna take a closer look? Well, you get to, anyway, because I LOVE to share close-ups! ;D

Close ups~

Wow this is fun Mynnette! The candy canes remind me of Good n' Plenty...remember those licorice candies. Cute card!

I love the pink & black on this card, it's very effective. A nice embossed panel & a pretty gingham bow. A beautiful creation.

Stunning as always

Sorry that I've not commented for a while, but I've been so busy, and not even had much time to craft!!
