Try Stampin' on Tuesday Guest DT!!!

I was incredibly honored last week to receive a Top 3 spot at Try Stampin' On Tuesday for this card.  I was doubly honored when I found out that they wanted me to be a GDT on this week's challenge!  OF COURSE I wanted to!!!   There's a fabulous sketch for you this week, and I can't wait to see what everyone creates!  I've used the black magic technique on my card and then added glitter on top of my stamped image.

Here's the sketch~

I'm sorry...

...I lied to you.  I know I said I wouldn't be back until next week, but then I decided today that I am going to do a mid-monthly reminder for Technique Tuesday and call it Mid-Month Motivation--I hope that Jacqueline will forgive me for semi-stealing her title from Make My Monday. :)

What I've decided to do is this: Halfway through the month, I will choose a card from that month's challenge at  Technique Tuesday that I really like, CASE it, and use it as the Mid-Month Motivation!  This month I chose this card by Victoria to CASE!  I LOVE her use of the teeny tiny flowers and the swirl from the Everything Eleanor set by Stampin' Up!

Here's my CASE of her card~

Might be my last post for a bit...

...excluding DT posts, of course!  I have family coming into town this weekend and they will be staying for a week, so I may be quite silent here except the scheduled DT posts I have!  Okay, I have a card to show you--I'm really excited about it!  This is the first time I've tried a cascading card, so please be gentle in your critique...oh, and you may or may not see this next month at Technique TuesdayAlso, don't forget I have blog candy!

Here it is~

So, what do you think?  I was quite impressed with it as it is my first effort at this!  I'm sure I'll look back at this card and realize how it could be improved, but right now I am content with it!  AND, I finally used my Apothecary Art set--so bonus! ;)  I hope you like what you see, and I hope you take the time to enter these fabulous challenges--happy stamping and hope to see you soon, friends! :)

This is not a digi card...

I know, you were expecting a digital image, weren't you! ;)  Well, my blog candy is still up for grabs, and I'll have a digi card for you here in just a bit.  BUT FIRST--I have a "real" card! ;)  Just kidding--this is just a card I made using rubber stamps!

Here it is~

For these fabulous challenges~

I made my designer paper by taking a piece of Pink Paisley paper, adding a bunch of stamped Regal Rose butterflies, and sponging the edges.  I used my Spellbinders scallop circle dies along with my SU! butterfly embosslit--sorry that I can't remember the name of it right now!  A bunch of bling and a few hat pins, and voila!

What do you think?  I think it's pretty...but I may be entering into these challenges again as I'm not 100% happy with it.

I hope that you are having a fabulous day!  Thanks for stopping by and saying hi!  Happy stamping! :)

Here's the digi card for the day...

Yep, I've got two more to go, and here's one of them!  I've got to get cracking and make some more!  This is a digi image that isn't part of my blog candy, but it is one that I'm thinking about putting in my digi store (if that really ever happens...)

Here is the card~

So, what do you think about the focal point being the digi sentiment?!  I LOVE it--this card really turned out a lot better than I thought it would!  And the only embellishing I did to the sentiment was to use a gold glitter gel pen to color in the star. :)  I used a few different punches on here--the ornament is completely made from punch pieces--just a few bits of embellishment!  I LOVE using punches and die cuts, but need to do it more!  Like the fold?  I'm calling it a display card, and you can find more info about it on my monthly craft club blog, Krafty Kansans.

I hope you like this card--please join my blog candy for a chance to win 8 digital sentiments, and join in the fun at the fabulous challenges above!  Merry stamping! ;)

The last two for today...I think! ;D

LAST post for today, I promise, friends!  I've got two last cards to show you, and then I'll have to go and get crafty! ;)  Also, DON'T FORGET THAT I HAVE SOME DIGI BLOG CANDY I'M GIVING AWAY!!!  Let's get started with the actual post now, shall we...

First card~

I've used the free digi from ADFD and then I decided to make teeny tiny pinwheels out of patterned paper.  This is the first time I've ever done it--and it was way easier than I thought it would be!  I LOVE the way this turned out--I think it's darling! And we may be making this card at my July workshop, I think!

Second card~

Okay, this might sound silly, but I've had some washi tape for quite some time and haven't used it.  Because I was worried that I wouldn't use it RIGHT.  How do you use a craft supply WRONG? was my husband's question.  OKAY, he's right!  And this is what I came up with!  A washi tape sunrise!  Some strategically placed bling on top of the monochrome crumpled image with some pearly glimmer mist to finish it off!
