I've been a busy bee today...

I really have!  I created a few projects to share with you and have spent most of the day studying gospel topics, posting on my digital art blog,  and reading inspirational stories from other bloggers.  I feel so blessed to live in an age where it is so easy to uplift those around you, and I'm so grateful to those who share their stories! :)

***WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY FROM THIS POINT ON***

Okay, let's get down to brass tacks, though!  I've got a lovely tag to share with you!!!  It's taken a couple of days to complete, actually, as I've had a lot of other responsibilities to attend to, therefore I've lost the chance to link up with Christmas Stamping All Year Long and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge. :(  But it was worth the wait!  Inspiration for this tag truck in the night! ;)

Here's the tag~

So, what do you think?  I stamped a portion of a large poinsettia can image onto my small square, colored in the berries, glimmer misted it and then it sat.  And then I decided to add crackle accents!  And then it sat. And then in the middle of the night I realized how I wanted the ribbon at the top to look.  And then I decided to add MORE glimmer mist to all the elements and put the dag blasted tag together!  I really think it turned out quite lovely!

AND NOW, a DARING ENDEAVOR on my part--I've created a wall hanging out of things that most people would consider trash.  It's gonna be a gift for one of my best friends' birthdays!  Therefore, it's also for "Spread the L-O-V-E"!!!  I'm really NOT a mean friend--none of the "trash" was ever IN the garbage can...and I think once you see it that you'll agree it's totally cute!!! I'll show it to you first and then tell you about all the recycled elements.

So, what "trash" did I use?  WELL...you know how all PTI stamp sets come in fabulous clear plastic boxes?  This is one of them!  And you know how those little $1 acrylic stamps have 2 pieces of acetate that they're stuck to?  And how one of the pieces has an image?  Yep!  These are 4 of those!!!  I also kept half of a doily that was destined for the trash and added it as an after thought.  Hope you like it!!!  I'm rather taken with it!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you create something fabulous as well--I'd love to come and see it! Leave me a comment and I'll try my bestest to come and visit you!!!  Happy crafting!!!
